The Pension Consultancy is a national group of Independent Financial Advisors who specialise in providing expert pensions advice, covering all aspects of how best to plan, save and invest for your retirement future.
With offices in over 100 towns and cities across the UK, there will always be a Pension Consultancy member close at hand.
Within each advisor's office there is at least one Pension Consultant who has obtained the special G60 pension qualification, so you will be assured, at all times, that you will be receiving the best quality of independent advice on pensions and SIPPs.
James White, Chief Executive
James, a former Nuffield scholar, began his financial services career with stockbrokers Brewin Dolphin Bell Lawrie. After a number of increasingly senior roles, James’s City career culminated in his appointment as a Director of Aberdeen Fund Managers. Seeking a more entrepreneurial enterprise, he was appointed a Director of The Information Corporation in 1993, where he was instrumental in the development, launch, and subsequent sale of the Investor Intelligence network. He followed this with the founding of Mortgage Intelligence, based on a similar format, again seen through to its successful sale in 1999.
James is currently Chairman of Perspective Financial Management (an IFA company) and a Non-executive director of Hotbed Limited, a venture capital business. He is also a former Chairman of the Wiltshire NFU.
Peter Slaymaker, Director
Peter’s career has focused on the retail customer across a number of product categories. From 1972 to 1991 he was Managing Director of Allders Department Stores which he built to the UK’s 4th largest business of its type UK. A successful company at that time, Peter was part of the buy-out team purchasing its parent from Hanson. When it floated in 1993 Peter was Group Development Director, a position he held until 1996. Thereafter he ran his own retail consultancy and held a number of directorships including that of British Airways Enterprises. Peter is currently Vice Chairman of the UK’s largest charity retail, Retail Trust, where he Chairs the Grants and Admissions committee. |
